You Are:
UST is looking for a Senior GIS Data Engineer who owns the overall delivery providing expert consultancy to developers and leads in the area of specialization; ensuring process level and customer level compliance.
The Opportunity:
- Define best practices for deploying ArcGIS platform and design systems, including integration to non-ESRI platforms, to meet business needs.
- Support defining a customer’s geospatial strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze business functions and industry shifts and provide feedback.
- Create innovative solutions to accommodate unique customer needs and define integration patterns.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other technical staff on designing, implementing, and optimizing different solutions spanning applications, data, and systems.
- Leverage experience in the implementation of Enterprise Information System (EIS) frameworks and platform architectures from requirements including IT and GIS strategies, cloud patterns, security, scalability, and licensing.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
- 5+ years of experience architecting, implementing, and administrating enterprise IT-GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS enterprise platform (desktop, server, and online).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ESRI software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Runtime, and their associated APIs or interfaces.
- Experience in platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, planning, developing, deployment, security, identity management frameworks, cloud, and scalability.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database and Windows Server environments.
- Programming and scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, and/or HTML5 (modern web frameworks).
- Hands on experience with deployment and/or administration of ArcGIS Enterprise-based solutions in cloud environments, such as Azure.
- Experience with ArcGIS, location-based services, geo-enabled apps, spatial analytics, or similar geospatial technology.
- Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented architectures and cloud hybrid configurations.
- Experience designing, administering, and/or maintaining cloud environments, such as Azure, supporting 24×7 high-availability production environments.
- Knowledge of and experience with software engineering and/or robust application development principles and practices.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $111,000-$167,000
