Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood and urine samples from patients
- Follow proper laboratory techniques and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Record and document patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and any relevant observations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Prepare specimens for transport to the clinical laboratory for analysis
- Assist with other laboratory procedures as needed
Skills:
- Certification as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant preferred
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling procedures
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
