Regional Director of Sales and Marketing
Independent Healthcare Properties, LLC (IHP) currently owns and manages Morning Pointe senior living communities throughout the Southeast Unites States. Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, IHP seeks an energetic and experienced Regional Director of Sales and Marketing to maximize occupancy and revenue within the region.
The Regional Director of Sales and Marketing will be part of a team of experienced, professional and compassionate senior living leaders. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides quality leadership to Morning Pointe’s internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding Morning Pointe’s values at all times; inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements and inspiring others.
· Achieves the Region’s profitability goals by driving occupancy and revenue. Creates and implements dynamic sales and marketing strategies that maximize occupancy and revenue.
· Directs the selling activities within the region, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions. Prioritizes effectively and in accordance with region’s objectives.
· Proactively develops action plans for underperforming communities and monitors progress.
· Takes the lead in mentoring and training the Executive Directors, Life Enrichment Directors, Lantern Program Directors and Community Relations Directors in order to create a results oriented and top performing sales culture.
· Monitors and interprets sales and marketing metrics in order to drive results.
· Assists the home office with the development and implementation of quarterly advertising campaigns.
- Promotes a positive corporate culture.
· Assists the community EDs in locating, recruiting, selection, training and retention of best in class CRDs.
- Provides on-site training for associates and residents, proactively solving problems and issues relating to customer service, marketing and sales

Qualifications/Skills Needed:
Education and Experience
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field from accredited college (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the senior living industry or equivalent. Familiar with selling and marketing assisted living and memory care products and services. Previous regional marketing experience preferred.
- Must be familiar with professional referral sources within the community.
Specific Requirements and Skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, publisher software and e-mail.
- Must live in the Chattanooga, TN area.
- Must be willing and able to travel, occasionally overnight. Available to occasionally work evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Must demonstrate an outgoing, energetic personality. Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be knowledgeable of marketing procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to assisted living, personal care and Alzheimer’s care.
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing desired results.
- Relationship-based selling skills and a proven track record in census development.
- Ability to successfully mentor and train EDs, CRDs and community associates in all aspects of sales and marketing within the region.
- General competence and skill set in developing and/or recommending local advertising opportunities, monitoring and providing quality assurance with sales and marketing forms and collateral materials.
