Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Hybrid Educational Diagnostician to join our team in Taylor, TX. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing students' learning needs, developing educational plans, and supporting teachers in creating inclusive learning environments. This is a full-time hybrid position, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Assessment: Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning disabilities.
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to students' unique needs.
Data Analysis: Analyze assessment data to inform instructional strategies and support decision-making for student interventions.
Professional Development: Provide training and support to teachers on effective strategies for accommodating diverse learning needs in both in-person and virtual settings.
Consultation: Work closely with teachers and school staff to offer guidance on differentiated instruction, classroom accommodations, and behavior management strategies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
Parent Collaboration: Communicate effectively with parents regarding assessment results, IEP goals, and strategies for supporting their child's learning at home.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
- Previous experience as an educational diagnostician is preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in using technology for remote and hybrid work.
