The Cordillera Metro District (CMD) is looking for Safety Agents to join our Safety team. Full-time and Part-time positions are available. Beyond having the required technical skills and experience required of this position, the ideal candidate for this role embraces personal responsibility and accountability while motivating others on the team to achieve a cohesive and positive work environment.

The CMD Community Safety Department performs duties and services to ensure the safety an security of Cordillera residents, visitors and employees. The Community Safety team patrols the community and maintains and operates 2 24-hour gatehouses controlling access into the community. The Cordillera Metro District’s Community Operations Department is responsible for maintaining more than 40 miles of paved roads, lighting and signage, road fencing, landscaping, and snow plowing during the winter. CMD’s Equestrian Center offers superior horse boarding and care, horse riding lessons, and clinics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must possess or be able to successfully complete basic first aid, CPR and AED training and maintain these certifications set forth by the American Red Cross or equivalent association. Training is provided by the employer.
- Customer service experience is required. Security experience and emergency response training is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal/human relations skills required. A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work both as a team member and an individual is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Computer skills and comfort operating software on desktop and mobile platforms required.
- Ability to respond in a calm manner to an emergency situation.
- Uniforms are provided. Adherence to the uniform standards and a professional, groomed appearance required.
