Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and the ability to lead a kitchen team effectively.
Duties:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop and create new menu items in line with dietary requirements and customer preferences
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events or promotions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation guidelines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
