Innovative population health management company based in Rhode Island is seeking a full-time Data Analyst/Reporting Specialist for our diabetes, obesity, and other chronic condition management programs that that we are providing via tele-health to employers and their employees and dependents throughout the U.S. This position is integral to the success of our company and provides significant opportunity for career growth and advancement.

Duties:
- Work directly with the Executive Vice President to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and identify opportunities for program refinement.
- Use analytical skills to identify key outcome metrics and extract actionable data and information from a large and growing health care claims database as well as available biometric and demographic information.
- Produce and present reports to customer leadership teams assessing the impact of our programs on the health and financial outcomes of their health plan population.
- Complete detailed drill-down analyses of atypical results to ensure accuracy and to understand factors contributing to these results.
- Utilize analytics to extract insights and trends to derive recommendations for program refinement.
- Coordinate with our I.T. team in leveraging and advancing machine learning/artificial intelligence to improve our programs and services.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Health Informatics, Mathematics, Business or similar).
- Proven working experience as a data analyst, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong working knowledge of database structures and tools (SQL, Jupyter, etc.).
- Data-oriented programming experience (Python, R, ETL frameworks, etc.).
- Machine Learning experience a plus (TensorFlow, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, Pandas, etc.).
- Data Visualization experience plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
