Construction Lead
Well established Specialty Engineering/Materials Supply/Construction company located in Woodinville, WA area since 1959 is looking for a Construction Lead for installing cathodic protection systems. Some typical job responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Install cathodic protection systems on pipelines, water tanks, above ground storage tanks, and marine structures.
- Understand and implement safe construction and work practices.
- Be able to read and follow construction specifications and drawings.
- Coordinate with multiple clients at one time to meet the installation scope and schedule.
- Coordinate sub-contractors as needed.
- Install cathodic protection test stations, anodes, rectifiers, and other low voltage wire systems.
- Be able to operate small excavation equipment, boats, and work trucks with trailers.
- Knowledge of the safe usage of hand tools, small power tools, concrete and asphalt cutters, and conduit bending methods.
- Be able to test the system for proper operation after installation.
- Be willing to progress toward obtaining NACE International cathodic protection certifications.
- Test, repair, and write simple assessment reports on existing cathodic protection systems.
- Work in the cathodic protection materials manufacturing facility when needed.
- Regularly travel out of town. Travel is typically 25% to 50% during the year. Most of it will be in the northwest, with some nationally.
- Occasionally assist the sales department with material take-offs and labor estimates for construction jobs.
- Occasionally work as a technician.
- Work overtime hours as needed to complete work.
- Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work legally in the US, have a valid driver's license, and able to pass a DOT Drug and Alcohol screening.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum of 5+ years of construction experience required. Work in the utility industry preferred.
- A proactive approach to work.
- Attention to detail and produce a professional work product.
- Professional interpersonal skills in both writing, emails, and speaking via phone.
- Able to deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner while on the job site.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Work independently.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Reliable.
This is an ideal position for someone living in the Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell, Woodinville, Everett, Snohomish or Monroe areas. This position is based on 40 hours per week. It offers full benefits and competitive compensation based on qualifications.

Pay: $29.00 - $37.00 per hour
