Financial Systems Administrator
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration of CPM application and its integrations with other systems (i.e. ERP, HRIS, Microsoft Excel), as well as for supporting consolidated planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will have both IT and Finance experience and will be a key contributor by driving excellence in the system infrastructure upon which all FP&A activities are housed.
This will be a 12-18 month contract with possibility of extension; hybrid schedule, 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create, maintain, and archive system processes as necessary to support monthly planning and reporting cycle
- Submit/update tickets regarding issues/bugs on the CPM managed services platform
- Establish processes and controls to ensure CPM system metadata codes, labels, and structural hierarchies are kept up to date and in alignment with source systems of record
- Ensure compliance with security standards by managing, validating, and tracking user account requests and access rights changes
- Manage new user provision and documentation; provide end users with training and customer support
- Support optimizing the service delivery of standardized reporting on a monthly, quarterly, yearly and/or ad-hoc basis
- Collaborate with application developers to support system enhancement projects
- Contribute subject matter expertise during technical design
- Lead QA / acceptance testing procedures and documentation
- Facilitate enhancement migrations to Production
- Prepare or update SOP documentation
- Provide technical support for audit / troubleshooting requests as needed
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years with related experience (systems administration, data management, process engineering, FP&A)
- Prior experience managing and maintaining a multi-dimensional / OLAP financial planning system is preferred; SQL / MDX experience is a plus
- Understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting, and analysis methodologies and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong drive for data integrity, process definition, and organizational alignment
