Action Staffing Solutions is seeking compassionate and skilled nurses of all specialties for a variety of facility types across the US.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform procedures such as catheterization and inhalation therapy
- Assist with the use of durable medical equipment (DME)
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner) to document patient information
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results
- Perform mammography screenings for early detection of breast cancer
- Manage acute pain in patients through appropriate interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience
- Proficiency in various medical procedures and techniques, including catheterization and inhalation therapy
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) and its proper use
- Experience working with electronic medical record systems, such as Cerner
- Knowledge of dementia care principles and techniques
- Ability to perform laboratory tests and interpret results accurately
- Competence in conducting mammography screenings for breast cancer detection
- Strong understanding of acute pain management strategies
