Bohan Contracting is a custom home remodeling and building company in Annapolis, MD. Bohan Contracting is growing by consistently winning new business, and it needs to expand the project management team with a Junior Project Manager. The junior project manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the administrative aspects of one or more projects from permits to completion. This role requires the confidence and ability to coordinate multiple details with various team members, including the customer, architect, vendors, and subcontractors.

The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., working from the corporate office in Annapolis, MD. This role works and travels to job sites and vendors within a 5 -10-mile radius. Living within a reasonable driving distance of Annapolis is required.

Position Responsibilities
- Professionally represent the Bohan Contracting principles of honesty and integrity
- Carefully review the entire project scope with Estimating/Sales and Preconstruction/Design personnel
- Conduct regular job site visits for adherence to budget, project design, and quality while delivering the highest level of customer service
- Provide a written summary of the work completed each day to customers and keep regular documentation of the progress with notes and photos
- Schedule County and City inspections
- Create & maintain Project Schedule and proactively communicate changes to teammates and the customer
- Act as a solution-oriented problem solver and professionally resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Carefully and accurately complete the punch-out list before the final walk-through with customers
- Confidently assume accountability for job site safety, cleanliness, security, and protection from damage during construction
Position Requirements
- Successful candidates will be highly organized and have experience with understanding and managing project quality, schedule, and budget expectations
- Knowledge of residential construction methods & materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clearly & effectively communicating with Production Manager, Project Managers, Contractors, Clients, and Designers
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns and complaints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills while prioritizing multiple tasks
- Capable of working independently but also collaboratively
- Must be flexible, coachable, and responsive to feedback
- Demonstrated capability of using the Microsoft Office and Google Suite, including spreadsheets
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to job sites and vendor locations within a 5-10 mile radius in Annapolis, MD
Compensation
- Base salary of $50,000+. Offers are commensurate with experience, knowledge, and capabilities.
- Annual bonus plan based on company profitability
Monthly Allowances
- $600 per month for vehicle/Fuel Allowance
- $40 towards personal cell phone
