GET FAMILIAR WITH THE ROLE
As a Senior Mold Inspector, you'll work from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Each day at GreenWorks starts with a morning meeting to discuss the day's agenda. As a Senior Mold Inspector, you begin by heading out to various residential and commercial properties, equipped with state-of-the-art tools to conduct thorough mold inspections. You collect air and surface samples, analyze them to identify mold types, and compile detailed reports with cost estimates and remediation recommendations.
You also follow up with clients to ensure they understand the findings and feel at ease with the proposed solutions. Throughout the day, you might mentor junior inspectors, ensuring they adhere to the industry's best practices. Your role is a perfect blend of fieldwork, client interaction, and data analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS

A science degree from a 4-year accredited university

2+ years of full-time experience in mold inspections and remediation practices

Proficiency in field sampling techniques, protocols, and laboratory analysis

Ability to interpret lab results from field sampling

Ability to work in a non-smoking environment

Microbial certifications (inspections and remediation)

Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and independently

Strong report-writing skills

Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in industrial hygiene, asbestos, lead, or odor

Experience in publishing articles or conducting educational seminars
