Position Overview:

As a Sr. Executive Assistant in the Office of Advancement, you will be a key member of a team focused on growing the level of financial support and other resources available to students, faculty and staff. In this role, you will work directly with the Vice Chancellor for Advancement and the Seattle Colleges Foundation’s Board of Directors, leaders and partners at the Colleges as well as in the business and community sectors.
Salary range for this position is $72,073.00 - $99,942.00 per year (depending on experience).

What you will be working on:
- Liaison and coordination efforts with the Foundation’s Board of Directors, donors/funders, and community partners
- Infrastructure building to develop an efficient, effective and sustainable Office of Advancement
- Resource management to support the work of the Vice Chancellor for Advancement and other executive leaders the
- Being the all-around “go to” person for the Office of Advancement

What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree OR any combination of relevant education, training, and experience that indicate successful performance of the essential elements of the position.
- 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative positions.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and proactively add value to a team.
- Proven experience working with technology and ability to adapt to new systems.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and coordinate activities with complex components with minimal supervision.
- Verifiable ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment when working in sensitive and highly confidential environments.
- Demonstrated successful experience working with people from diverse communities
Physical Requirements:
- The Position typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
