The HR Coordinator will support the Human Resources department in various functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ApplicantPro)
- Conduct reference checks and prepare employment offers.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
- Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews and ensuring the return of company property.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system (HRIS).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues.
- Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and performance management.
- Assist in the resolution of employee issues and conflicts, escalating to the HR Manager as necessary.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with ATS and HRIS software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
