The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining Ready Foods strategies, goals and objectives. The Maintenance Manger oversees facilities, grounds and equipment. The Maintenance Manager ensures the departments health and culture are in alignment with Ready Foods mission, vision and strategic plan. The position is a full-time salaried position reporting directly to the Director of Engineering and Maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor, develop and train Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to meet current and future business requirements
- Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in the facilities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation regulations, policies and procedures
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Manage the maintenance expenses by ensuring best practices in the industry
- Build and upkeep long term relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
Requirements:
- 5+ Years Industrial Maintenance Management Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience with Lean Management Systems
- Advanced knowledge in mechanical and electrical fields
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and CMMS programs
- Food Industry experience a plus
