Competitive Choice Inc. is looking to hire a Full-time Social Media/Marketing Associate to join our marketing team. This is NOT a remote job position. Please do not apply if you are not residing in the Houston or surrounding Houston area.
You will be responsible for building/designing marketing and email campaigns, promoting events, creating/designing advertisements/media posts, gathering content, engagement, gathering analytics, and market research. You will be assisting the Manager/Senior Graphic Designer with small tasks as needed. We believe that embracing feedback is integral to personal and professional development and contributes to the overall success of our team and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Running company social media campaigns and overseeing the day-to-day management
- Maintain the social media calendar and update frequently
- Setting up media days (gathering footage/images)
- Write original blogs for social media and websites to gain traction
- Constant engagement of all media platforms
- Collaboration with the video team to compile existing photo & video assets and using native Instagram Stories tools or Photoshop when necessary
- Brainstorm & pitch monthly ideas to support ongoing brand goals and marketing campaigns based on overall performance goals
- Using a mix of Adobe software to create videos, media posts, banners, and more
- Creating and sending email campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing, warehouse, and sales team to set up media projects
- Research techniques, design trends, and technologies to contribute new ideas and inspiration to the team
- Research market trends and opportunities
- File management and organization of folders to ensure easy workflow and access to assets by other team members
- Assist the Manager / Graphic Designer with simple tasks
- Occasionally assist with printing, cutting, and binding
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of Graphic Design experience - Required
- College degree in graphic design or related field - Required
- Experience with video editing and email marketing - Required
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Premier Pro - Required
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, content-driven idea, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
- Excellent reading, proofreading, writing, publishing, and copy editing – Required
- Strong eye for design and attention to detail – Required
- Basic knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout – Required
- Open to feedback and constructive criticism – Required
