Hours for this position are typically Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and rotating Saturdays 8:45am-1:30pm (must be available to work Mon - Fri 6:45am-7:30pm, rotating Sat 8:45a-1:30p)
**The Traveling Teller is responsible for filling staffing needs at the following six locations: Lumberton, Beaumont, Nederland, Port Arthur, Bridge City and Orange.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, and cash advances. Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash and check totals. This position will travel as a Teller to any FivePoint Golden Triangle Branch. Performs specific assigned side-jobs and assists other Tellers with a variety of duties as required, including the Live Teller Center. Responsible for providing real time teller assistance to members from a centralized location through video transmission via the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM). Interactive Video tellers must be comfortable and proficient with technology devices and services and able to effectively communicate with members through video in a professional member-engaging manner. Performs most complex Teller functions as needed. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of the fundamentals of quality customer service.
Currency and check handling knowledge is required for full-time positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Extensive customer service experience.
Strong experience handling currency and checks is required for full-time positions, preferred for part-time positions.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Must be comfortable and proficient with technology devices and services and able to effectively communicate with members through video in a professional member-engaging manner.
Good math skills.
Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including personal computer, adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, and telephone.
Good typing/data entry skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
None
Preferred Knowledge:
Currency and check handling knowledge is preferred for part-time positions.
Basic understanding of financial operations is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of teller operations is preferred.
Experience Preferred:
Minimum six months experience handling currency and checks is preferred for part-time positions.
Teller or related experience is preferred.

STOOPING: Bending downward and forward at the waist. Requires full use of lower extremities and back muscles.
STANDING: For prolonged periods of time on busy lobby days. On a regular basis, stands about 80% of working time.
WALKING: Especially for long distances.
