An excellent company focused on creating renewable wind energy is looking for a QEHS Specialist. This person will be directly responsible to the Operations Manager for the successful fulfillment of the QEHS Program as so delegated by the QEHS Manager. The QEHS Specialist shall perform and complete those tasks as assigned by the QEHS Manager in the successful execution of daily operational priorities
What you’ll be doing:
- Collect and disseminate daily “Run-sheets” (read: daily schedules) and corresponding build-books to the Parts Cart team, Paint Booth team, and Bay Leads
- Update Genba-style tracking boards for both Hubs and Machine Head (MH) cells at the beginning of each shift and continually throughout the day. Changes shall be communicated to both supervisors and bay leads for proper dissemination
- Ensure layered-process audits (LPAs) are conducted across all bays, then reviewed and filed for posterity
- Confirm and escalate, as necessary, WIP entries to confirm all required items have been scanned into MES as needed
- Review outcomes of ergonomic attainment results, economy of motion reviews, and LPAS surrounding efficiency of delivery, and implement corrective measures as authorized by EHS and MQL. Apply coaching techniques to further assist training and true application of sound EHS/CI principles
- Complete and record twenty (20) Kaizens per month
- Assist in KANBAN replenishment request prioritization IAW daily production needs
- Participate in weekly QEHS Genba walk(s)
