Position Overview: Arch Amenities Group, the leading provider of amenities management and consulting services for commercial and residential spaces, is seeking a Hospitality Manager for an exciting commercial real estate opportunity in Austin, Texas!
The Hospitality Manager will manage the daily operations of the café, commercial tenant programming and community engagement. This multifaceted position requires a blend of leadership, hospitality expertise, and attention to detail. You will work alongside property management to effectively coordinate services including curated barista offerings, culinary operations, vertical services, and tenant relations. The Hospitality Manager will greet guests to the amenity floor, lead the café operations, and assist in execution of monthly community engagement programs for the building, with support of AAG's engagement team, and in partnership with our property client. Our ideal candidate will have prior hospitality experience, specifically in custom curated and crafted barista environments, and catering/event expertise. Exceptional customer service experience is a must! This is in-person role scheduled Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for café to optimize efficiency and producti
- Daily presence in the cafe space: greeting customers and assisting with all clients' needs.
Staff Management and Training:
- In conjunction with AAG's, recruit, hire, and train staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Schedule shifts and manage employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and employee development.
Quality Control and Product Management:
- Monitor the quality of coffee and food products, ensuring they meet the established AAG's standards.
- Liaise with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and products.
- Develop relationships with local vendors to provide unique and seasonal offerings.
- Keep abreast of industry and local hospitality trends, share information with all staff.
Tenant Engagement:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with tenants, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Act as a liaison between tenants and property management, addressing concierge inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and distribute regular communication to tenants, including push notifications via digital communication platforms, updates on café amenities, and upcoming events.
- Serve as a point of contact for digital tenant hospitality inquiries and requests, facilitating communication between tenants and building management, as applicable.
Financial Management:
- Assist with the development of the café operating budgets to identify areas of financial improvement.
- Monitor sales trends and profit margin metrics to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate data in sales/catering software to update system as business dictates.
- In conjunction with Arch Amenities, implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales and increase profitability.
- Report financials accurately and in a timely manner in partnership with AAG's corporate accounting team.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years in a barista and/or café environment
- Excellent multitasking ability and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing others is preferred.

- Minimum 5 years work experience in hospitality related fields.
