Erie Family Health Centers, a nationally recognized top workplace with 13 sites in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Patient Access Operations team! The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for building all Erie providers’ and resource templates and uploading their schedules in Epic in a timely and efficient manner. Scheduling Coordinator assists with new patient hospital discharge scheduling as well as any scheduling due to changes or cancellations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Builds and uploads all Erie provider schedules in Epic and AMION monthly in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Uploads monthly, all miscellaneous resource schedules including the Lab, RN, Navigator and NMG schedules into Epic in an accurate and timely manner.
- Handles monthly upload for on-call schedules to Amion and communicates changes to the answering service.
- Create and maintain schedule templates of all active providers and resource provider templates in Epic through the Template Admin feature.
- Responsible for maintaining tracking records of provider ramp up.
- Maintains the visit type provider level modifiers and session limits in Epic’s template builder.
- Supports the scheduling workflow of new patient hospital discharges for partner hospitals by taking calls and responding to emails for follow-up care.
- Collaborates with Director and Site Management Teams to identify and coordinate provider coverage when shortage of providers in clinic is noticed.
Education
Required:
- High School diploma required
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or 2 years of college a plus
Skills and Knowledge
Required:
- At least three years of experience in health-related field
Preferred:
- At least one year of scheduling software or healthcare scheduling preferred
