Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our team in a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging, with a focus on diagnostic radiology and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. The X-ray Technician will be responsible for conducting a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans, PET scans, and mammography, in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Duties:
- Conduct X-ray procedures, including CT scans, PET scans, and mammography, in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals with imaging procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging results, maintaining detailed records of each procedure.
- Provide patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for each patient.
- Work effectively in a high-pressure, emergency department environment, prioritizing tasks and managing stress.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- A current certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiology (RT(R)) or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of anatomy and diagnostic radiology.
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similar emergency department setting.
- Familiarity with CT, PET scan, and mammography procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing stress.
- A commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
