Qualifications
•Demonstrate aptitude for the successful performance of the tasks listed and utilize knowledge of simple math skills, such as adding, subtraction, multiplication, and simple division
•Ability to maintain confidentiality; communicate clearly both orally and in writing
Responsibilities
- To provide breakfast and lunch program patrons efficient, courteous cashier service
•Complete money and POS transactions for all sales
•Track and update free and reduced-price meal applications in compliance with policy and procedures
•Total and balance daily lunch sale receipts and prepare bank deposit slips for money collected
•Keep accurate and detailed reports related to lunch sales
•Assist kitchen personnel in meal service and related duties
•Report any related equipment malfunction and supply needs to the manager
•Head Cashiers will prepare daily deposits and complete month-end reports as needed
•Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance and wear district uniforms at all times when performing duties
•Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, principal, and his/her designee
•Possess the ability to effectively communicate, verbally, and in written form, with administrators, staff, and the community as needed
•Attend department meetings when scheduled
•While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to reach, climb, bend, stand, and walk
