We are a Direct Primary Care and Functional Medicine office seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to work with our team delivering quality care and exceptional service to our patients.
Clinical Responsibilities:
· Greet, assess and interview patients
· Obtain vital signs (BP, pulse, resp, temp, O2 sat, height, weight)
· Prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider
· Monitoring of patient during examination, or procedure
· Maintain patient care areas
· Maintain clean exam rooms
· Respond to patient's concerns in person or by telephone
· Maintain patient confidentiality
· Perform a variety of POC testing
Administrative Responsibilities:
· Registering new patients
· Scheduling appointments
· Documenting and routing telephone messages/emails to appropriate parties
· Reception- check in/check out process
· Answering incoming calls
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of HIPAA
· Knowledge of medical terminology
. Phlebotomy certification
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to interface with patients and family members/friends with variety of personalities involving a variety of situations
· Must be comfortable working with all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
· Experience with electronic medical record (EMR)
· Excellent computer skills and knowledge of various medical technologies and equipment associated with healthcare
· In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, with the goal of providing the patient with quality care and a positive outcome, exceeding their expectations
