About the National Brain Injury InstituteThe National Brain Injury Institute is a specialty medical practice dedicated to the diagnosis, management, and treatment of traumatic brain injury. We are seeking a long-term team member for this office;
The Ideal candidate must be willing do both duties as MA and NP for our Atlanta Clinic.
Duties:
MA duties
- Patient intake and discharge
- Document status of all visits and any recommendations made on Referral Tracker
- Assist with completion of prior authorization requests and disability paperwork
- Contact patients at least 1-2 days prior to their appointments to send them the informed consent forms and telehealth link, if applicable
NP duties
- Conduct thorough evaluations, to include history, physical exam, ROS, and detailed history of symptoms s/p brain injury.
- Create a comprehensive treatment plan to address all symptoms and update plans as needed.
- Medication management for post-traumatic headaches, anxiety, depression, PTSD, vertigo, nausea, and other conditions related to the brain injury.
- Utilize EMR to maintain accurate demographic information, scheduling of patients' appointments, and order medications.
Requirements
- Must be tech-savvy and have knowledge with Google Apps
About the position
- Starting Salary at $65/hour subject to periodic review
- Part-time hourly position (1099 position)
- Flexible of 1 day per week from 9am to 5pm
- Be able to reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Willing to sign an initial of 1 year minimum contract but can renewed on a yearly basis
