Skills and Experience (Required):
Required
· Provide techniques for large-scale data analysis, correlation, aggregation, visualization, and querying across intelligence domains.
· Optimize current databases to expedite data input, export, query, and visualization.
· Collaborate with AOS and NGA CENTCOM (AOB) teams to plan how to migrate legacy datasets and devise ways for exposing new datasets.
· Create unique solutions (tools, processes etc.) to automate or assist analytic endeavors as submitted by AOS and AOB leadership and analytic units.
· Construct scripts for statistical models employing massive datasets in Visual Basic, R, Python, or another programming language to extract patterns, relationships, and anticipatory behaviors.
· Understand concepts related to structured data and relational databases and apply mathematical concepts and methodologies to solve complex GEOINT analysis problem sets.
· Utilize statistical software such as Matlab, R, Excel, SPSS, SAS, ArcGIS, or other programs to analyze and display operational data.
· Utilize the proper software to manage, transfer, and work with data across software applications, including SQL databases, ArcServer, and Tableau.
· Troubleshoot performance and access concerns pertaining to data visualization and analysis.
· Develop training solutions and tradecraft approaches for the discovery, preparation, modifying, and arranging of large amounts of data.
· Publish and create advanced techniques and methods for dissemination through the NGA Tradecraft HUB.
Desired
· Bachelor's degree or high-level degree is preferred in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
· Experience relevant to data science, analytics, or a related field, preferably in the intelligence community.
· Proficiency in programming languages (Visual Basic, R, Python) and statistical software (SPSS, SAS, Matlab).
· Experience with database management systems (SQL, ORACLE, NoSQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau, ArcGIS).
· Strong problem and analytical solving skills, also able to work independently and collaboratively.
· Communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technically oriented stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
