Job Responsibilities:

Lead by example with integrity and respect the value employees add to our company.
- Ensure that regular safety inspections are executed and that safety issues are addressed immediately. Attend monthly safety training, lead the team in following and supporting all company safety initiatives.
- Maintain 5S Housekeeping standards to be sure all areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.

Organize and direct production lines and processes to achieve daily targets and goals.

Ensure operators make quality products as efficiently as possible, adhering to the job instructions and established quality procedures.

Take immediate steps to remove obstacles and eliminate unnecessary downtime to achieve production goals.

Own daily management SQDCP process and coach team to solve problems and provide solutions with energy to meet key performance indicators.

Assist in selection of team members; lead their training and development.
- Actively seek cost reduction in material costs, shop supplies, and labor.
-
Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in safe working order. Escalate maintenance issues to maintenance manager.
- Manage vacations and attendance to ensure no bottlenecks occur and employee handbook policies are met.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by Production Manager.
Qualifications:-
Associates Degree or combination of education and experience.

3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in area of hire.

Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
-
1-3 years of leadership experience.
-
Thorough understanding of OSHA guidelines.
