Summary:
The Financial Services Analyst II manages a portfolio of customers and performs accounts receivable, collections and support functions for a rapidly growing third-party logistics company. Responsibilities include: maintaining professional relationships with internal and external contacts, including support, sales and customers. Support team goals to achieve cash flow and operating expense goals, including days sales outstanding, past due percentage, bad debt expense, etc. established by Financial Services Director. Priority1 specializes in consulting and managing domestic less than truckload and truckload operations for small to large shippers in North America.
Description:

Collects accounts receivables in accordance with terms and department objectives.

Manages above average sized portfolio (AR > $3.5M) made up of top tier Agents or Direct Sales.

Assist leadership with building and updating necessary standard process documentation for key accounts.

Participates in periodic reviews with financial services leadership and takes necessary action to improve performance.

Prepares required reports for financial services leadership to monitor performance, including past due, total balance and agents aging.

Provides administrative support for financial services supervisor and team, including manual customer portal work, ad-hoc reporting, routine tasks for top accounts, etc.
Job Requirements:

Accounts receivable, accounting, finance or general business; 5+ years required; 7+ years preferred.

Abilities required: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, and familiarity with an ERP platform (e.g., Oracle, Sage, AS400 etc.) - knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus

Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with a positive disposition; required.

Physical Requirements:
