Position: MIG Welder
Reports to: Departmental Supervisor

Overview: Using a variety of hand tools, power tools, weld equipment and assembly fixtures to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble product per written instruction or approved prints. Assist any other welders in the daily duties and provide help with operational issues that arise.
Primary Responsibilities
Ø Assemble parts per print and make sure that all requirements are met.
Ø Read and interpret weld prints, work instructions, or sample pieces to position parts within subassemblies.
Ø Examine welded connections for correct fit and size. Perform modifications as needed and ensure product is free of spatter or other defects that would result in customer dissatisfaction.
Ø Maintain inventory supply by checking stock to determine level; anticipating needed items; relaying information to Departmental Leads / Supervisor.
Ø Document actions by completing work orders, production logs, quality check sheets, shipping tags, etc.
Ø Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Ø Perform ongoing inspection comparing against approved sample or prints to ensure customer specifications are met and ISO / TS standards are upheld.
Qualifications
Ø Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Ø Physical dexterity; Basic math ability; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ø Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; work well as a team member.
Ø Good communication skills.
Ø Prior MIG / TIG / welding & Brazing experience preferred.
Ø Competency with basic measurement equipment: tape measure, Vernier calipers, thread gauges, weld gauges, torque wrenches as required.

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
