This position is within the Workers' Compensation Department at Abramson Labor Group. You will have the opportunity to interact with the clients’ files throughout the lifecycle of their case, negotiate settlements to maximize the value of the client's cases, and attend hearings relevant to issues that may arise during a client’s case.

Client Communications
- Schedule informational calls with clients to provide updates
- Obtain relevant case information from clients
- Relay important information to clients, including reminders, settlement offers, and other pertinent messages
- Review documents with clients, ensuring their understanding of content and purpose
- Post-QME Discovery
- Rate QME reports and assess Whole Person Impairment
- Assess report for objections
- Initiate discovery such as QME Depositions, Diagnostics, TD Benefits, Supplementals, Interrogatories
- Hearings
- Managing a high-volume caseload
- Communicating with relevant parties involved in a case
- Attending all case-related hearings
- Maintaining case notes
- Reviewing and evaluating case files
- Possible traveling to assigned Workers Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) locations

1+ years of experience as a Hearing Representative related to Worker’s Compensation
- Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation
- General understanding of the workers’ compensation system, including EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process
- Highly motivated, results-driven, high energy, and a sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
- Client-focused, with a commitment to outstanding customer service and the ability to deliver results
- Bachelor's degree Preferred
- Bilingual (English + Spanish) Preferred
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams
