Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Ship Store Associate to join our team. As a Ship Store Associate, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This is a seasonal role that will run for approximately 9 months with the responsibilities most-likely ending in the winter. There is potential for a full-time, year-round role.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products and assisting the Retail Manager with the day-to-day retail operations
- Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Create an atmosphere that allows guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed
- Maintain a clean an organized sales floor
- Provide excellent customer service while assisting customers
- Operate cash register, complete paperwork and required counts
- Receive and process stock inventory, assist with stock management
- Perform basic cleaning inside and outside the store including trash
- Process exchanges, returns, and refunds in accordance with company policies
- Available to work Thursday - Sunday and overtime as required
- Follow TPG Safety and Environmental rules, willingness to take training.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area.
- Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
- Any other duties as assigned by TPG Marinas and the direct Manager.

Qualifications
- Marina experience a plus
- Ability to work on-site at Spicer's Marina
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs on occasion. Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally kneel, stoop, bend and twist in tight areas.
- All candidates must be ready, willing, and able to work a fully flexible work schedule that may include days, weekends and holidays to meet the fluctuating business demands. The typical schedule is Thursday through Sunday.
