Summary
A Classroom Teacher at Watch Me Shine specializes and has experience in education/early intervention. The Classroom Teacher will provide support and guidance to Providers in their classrooms. The Classroom Teacher will assist the Director and Special Education Coordinators in overseeing student progress, programming, support, and the training of current and new providers joining the company. Classroom Teachers are expected to learn a variety of early intervention methods, demonstrate mastery level skills working with children with special needs, and be highly motivated and passionate about making a difference in a child's life. A Classroom Teacher at Watch Me Shine will never define a child by their diagnosis; see a future of great opportunities of friendships, joy, and possibilities. Watch Me Shine is seeking full-time early childhood teacher to work with children in our early intervention program.
We are seeking caring and compassionate early childhood teachers that want to make a difference in a child's life. Watch Me Shine is open year-round and serves preschool and school-aged children.
The Early Childhood Teacher oversees:
- Planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program
- Ensuring equipment and the facility are clean, well maintained, and safe always
- Providing weekly and monthly schedules of activities
- Ensuring children are always supervised
- Providing various experiences and activities for children including songs, games, and story telling
- Establishing routines and provide positive guidance
- Providing a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable
- Tracking student progress
- Integrating special needs children in a positive and respectful manner
Early childhood teachers are an essential part in encompassing the many components that provide our children the best possible programming and therapy possible.
Watch Me Shine began as a small early intervention program for children with special needs and has evolved into a large childcare center and therapy program. Watch Me Shine is now a superior preschool, childcare, and multi-therapy service for young children. Our mission is to create a new type of specialized learning environment that is developmentally appropriate by offering holistic care that is individualized, evidenced-based, and bolsters relationship building skills while providing the educational tools necessary to allow a child to achieve their greatest potential. We offer many youth services under one roof. Our goal is to provide the structure and professional assistance required to take positive steps forward with each child and family that builds on their strengths.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Experience is preferred but Watch Me Shine is willing to train the right applicant.
