Summary
Produce specific parts by programming, setting up, and operating a “CNC Rotary Plasma”. Load and unload cnc machine; with hoists, forklifts, and manually. Maintain quality and safety standards by creating/following workflow protocol, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Modeling parts within CNC 3D software.
- Creating parts through operation of CNC Pipe Plasma.
- Manage and plan work orders effectively.
- Maintain CNC Rotary Plasma, air compressor, and material handling equipment.
- Operate a forklift and overhead hoists.
- Keeping the work environment clean, safe, and orderly.
- Communicating to management about manufacturing and quality issues as they arise on a consistent basis.
- Must be able to work 40+ hours per week. (Monday-Friday).
Education, experience and skills required:
- Strong basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to operate basic hand and power tools. (Tape measure, impact driver, drill, circular saw, etc)
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Able to follow written and verbal details to complete assignments.
- Work independently as well as a part of a team.
- Able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Possess a keen sense of attention to detail and take pride in his/her work.
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize work and meet deadlines while having a sense of urgency when needed.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Physical Capabilities and Requirements:
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Must be able to be on your feet, sit, stoop, crawl and work in various positions throughout the work day.
- Must be able to climb up and down ladders and move around on platforms.
