Job Duties
The Virginia Office of the Attorney General is seeking a qualified Office Support Specialist to join its Operations Section. This position functions to ensure appropriate operations resources are available and employed in direct support of the Office of the Attorney General mission, goals, and objectives. The Agency Transportation Officer (ATO) is enthusiastic in their daily duties and shows strong attention to detail within the organization - all of which affect maintenance of the physical fleet, EZ-Pass, and Enterprise rental vehicle program. The ATO is responsible for monitoring travel and compliance, serving as the liaison between the agency and DGS Fleet Operations, ensuring the agency receives vital information in a timely manner, and attending Fleet trainings and meetings on a periodic basis. The ATO will also assist and ensure that Operations support services, which includes mail center operations, copy center, court delivery and pickup services, furniture and supplies, logistics, and facilities maintenance support services are delivered in a timely, customer oriented, safe, efficient, and professional manner consistent with all governing internal and external policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of fleet operations and operational and facility related areas.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with diverse backgrounds at all management levels, both verbally and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be dependable, able to multi-task, able to gain technical skills for office equipment (postage machine, IT equipment, etc.), and lift 50 pounds.
- Must possess valid Virginia driver’s license
Additional Considerations
This is a salaried, non-exempt position with full state benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience, up to $60,000.
