Tectonic is currently seeking a full-time, experienced Environmental Engineer / Project Manager with permitting, compliance, and remediation design experience to work based out of Orange County, NY Office!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performing environmental analysis of data, performing studies and research, application of local codes; and preparing reports and work products for final QA/QC review;
- Preparing data for client task order and vendor compliance reports; compiling project documentation, and assisting with monitoring project schedules and budgets;
- Coordination of site visits to gather data and perform site analyses for various projects and coordination of civil land development and environmental tasks;
- Assisting project management on all phases of the project, including project commencement, organization, tracking, project work, invoicing, and deliverables, including collaborating with project teams to coordinate the process of providing high quality deliverables to our clients;
- Review the work and assignments of junior staff as applicable on certain assigned projects; coordinate other project and senior level staff input and tasks;
- Perform business development activities, including proposal preparation;
- Participate in project coordination meetings with internal team members, clients, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Provide overall quality assurance practices for required deliverables and contribute to internal process improvements.
- All other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience;
- Must possess a BS Degree or equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a valid Professional Engineering license;
- Comprehensive understanding of environmental engineering and permitting practices, including:
- Soil and groundwater sampling procedures
- Preparation of predesign investigation plans
- Managing field investigations
- Data interpretation
- Permitting, including NEPA
- Ecological studies, including wetlands
- Environmental remediation practices;
- Must have exemplary written and oral communication skills, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the Company in a professional manner;
- Must have strong demonstrable organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as ability to utilize various software programs, time reporting systems, and other related computer applications;
- This position may require occasional travel
- Requires a valid, acceptable driver’s license and personal vehicle to travel to meetings and sites as needed.

PAY RANGE
Tectonic’s goal is to compensate employees fairly and equitable across all positions Companywide. Our advertised pay ranges are representative of our good faith effort to provide a reasonable anticipated salary range. The offered pay may be outside of the provided salary range based upon the selected candidate’s work location, experience, education, certifications, and capabilities compared to the advertised position.
Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000 / Year
