Seasonal Full-Time Cook (Food Service) Position at Summer Sleep-Away Camp
Food Service Opportunity, June 10 – August 11
Start date is negotiable.
The Cook, with the kitchen staff team, is responsible for the preparation of all camp meals in accordance with pre-planned menus during resident camp. The Cook reports to the Kitchen Manager.
When summer camp is in session, the kitchen staff work together to cook and provide food service for and feed approximately 220 people a week from Sunday Dinner to Friday Dinner.
Room and Board is available, but living on site is not required.
Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age

Must hold a ServSafe certificate or be able to obtain one

Ability to lift and move food, supplies and equipment up to 25 lbs.

Able to read menus, weights, and measures

Able to verbally communicate effectively with staff, co-workers and campers

Ability to work well as a part of a team
