Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the counter area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Handle customer inquiries and provide product information
- Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise on the counter
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking inventory and orders
- Engage in retail sales activities to drive revenue
- Negotiate with customers to address any concerns or issues
Skills:
- Proficiency in POS systems for order processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer needs effectively
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for inventory tracking
- Experience in stock management and organization
- Ability to negotiate with customers to resolve conflicts or issues
- Prior experience in retail sales preferred
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively
- Basic understanding of retail math principles for transactions
- Strong math skills for accurate order processing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
