Position Title: Office Manager FLSA: Exempt
Position Summary
The Office Manager plays a crucial role in our law firm, specializing in Immigration and Criminal Defense, by meticulously overseeing daily operations. This role demands a candidate with exceptional leadership and communication skills to ensure seamless administrative tasks, providing vital support to both attorneys and staff. Holds limited responsibilities for the day-to-day management of office operations and executive projects. The primary objective is to guarantee the successful management and execution of the firm's physical office operations and project logistics.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, fostering a professional and efficient work environment.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support for their tasks.
- Coordinate the hiring process with the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment, addressing staff concerns and promoting teamwork.
- Manage office technology and software, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT support for troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of office technology.
- Oversee office maintenance, security, and cleanliness, ensuring a safe and conducive work environment.
- Coordinate repairs and upgrades of office equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
- Supervises one direct report (Receptionist/Admin Assistant), providing guidance and support.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in an office manager role in a legal setting, especially in immigration or criminal defense.
- Fluency in Spanish is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal case management software.
- Familiarity with immigration and criminal defense processes is beneficial.

Education/Experience
- Associate’s degree in Business or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Supervisory experience and experience working in an office, preferably a law firm.
