The receptionist supports the office staff and performs routine daily activities. The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and manages time effectively.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet visitors and clients at the front desk.
- Answer phone and transfer to appropriate department/employee.
- Manage deliveries and prepare packages for shipping.
- Open and distribute mail.
- Maintain office supply room stock and organization.
- Process and print job cost reports weekly.
- Track daily safety paperwork for jobsites.
- Maintain and manage employee safety certifications log and training.
- Process monthly expense reports in Concur.
- Empty breakroom dishwasher daily and restock coffee.
- Assist office staff with various electronic filing.
- Miscellaneous duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe or Bluebeam (desired).
- Knowledge of office equipment including multi-line phones, computers, copiers, printers, and scanners.
- Proactive and eager to learn construction software and technology essential to job responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Capable of multitasking and performing detailed tasks.
- Able to maintain professionalism working with all levels of employees and external team members including clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Resourceful, proactive, personable, respectful, and flexible.
Attendance and Dress Code
This position requires the ability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Lunches are taken from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Robinson Construction Co. does not enforce a specific dress code in the office. However, it is expected office employees will dress as it is appropriate for their job.
