We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team and help us continue delivering top-notch service to our clients and residents.
Job Summary: The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the proper upkeep and functioning of our rental properties and assist in property flips. This role requires a general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Experience with HVAC is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairs, installations, and inspections.
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Assist with HVAC system maintenance and repairs (if experienced).
- Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests.
- Maintain and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the properties.
- Assist in property flips by preparing properties for sale, including minor repairs and renovations.
- Collaborate with the property management team to schedule and complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with tenants and team members to address maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker, handyman, or similar role.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- HVAC experience is a plus.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
