Nature & Purpose of Position
Student will directly report to the Marketing and Events Coordinator. Use knowledge and expertise to build and maintain departmental social media, including Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook. Be conscious of the department and the University’s brand and overall goals. This role will also assist in designing, advertising, and promoting materials, including social media posts, flyers, maps, t-shirts, table tents, and other promotional items. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. Skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, or Canva are preferred. Applicants must be able to work with little or no supervision in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment. Student will also perform general office duties, including answering phones, running errands, helping professional staff with projects, and keeping up with incoming mail.
