Looking for a motivated Senior Accountant in the Pasadena, CA area for a temporary position.
About this position:
You will be managing the company's financials on QuickBooks, AR/AP, minor purchasing duties, and also following up with vendors prior to dates of service.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, have a willingness to learn new skills, and be a self-starter who can multitask.
Company’s customers span industries and policy issues such as transportation, health care, social equity, restorative justice, housing and homelessness, education, economic development, and more.
Job Duties:
- Day-to-day recording of financial transactions
- Completing and mailing bills, contracts, policies, invoices, or checks
- Maintaining and updating filing, supply inventory, and databases
- Interfacing and coordinating with vendors
- Computing, recording, & proofreading data & other info such as records or reports
- Manage budget, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to communicate extremely well, both verbally and in writing
- Must have strong attention to detail, organizational, and administrative skills
- Strong financial acumen / QuickBooks experience is mandatory
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and develop business procedure templates
- Must be able to competently use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and have a quick-to-learn acumen for other software platforms
Job Location: Pasadena, CA
Work Schedule: Hybrid - 2 days in the Pasadena office & 3 days working from home
Pay Rate: $35 an hour
