Description:
As an Electrical Foreman for Zajac, LLC you will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, electrical control systems, pneumatic systems and electrical instrumentation in the Industrial Field.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Installing power supply wiring and conduit such as: EMT, Stainless Steel Rigid Conduit, Galvanized Rigid Conduit, PVC Coated Rigid Conduit, MC Cable, Strut and Cable Tray.
- Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, motor controls, panels, and electrical/control circuits.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as: switchgear, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, and power supplies.
- Testing electrical systems and circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Knowledge of testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and meggers to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Directing or training workers to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and equipment.
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems or components, using testing equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Troubleshooting multiple systems such as: Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider and more.
- Provide good leadership to motivate and engage all workers on your job site.
- Appropriately assign workers to tasks to complete work as scheduled and on time.
- Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and members of the department to ensure work is conducted with the highest quality and to the customer’s expectations.
- Plan with electrical supervisor to determine necessary materials, tools, authorizations, etc. to efficiently and effectively complete tasked work.
- Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repair. Ensure compliance with the NEC, NFPA, local codes and customer specifications.
- Maintaining current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations.
- Maintains compliance with State and Federal codes and safety regulations pursuant to OSHA guidelines.
Requirements:

Specific Requirements:
- 6 years of experience as a commercial, industrial and/or controls electrical.
- Will comply with the National Electrical code to install and repair all electrical systems.
- Understand schematics, blueprints, one-line diagrams and P&ID’s.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of, and adherence to, job site safety.
- High standard of integrity and professionalism.
- Able to work overtime and paid travel as requested.
- Valid Electrical License
