Summit School is a 14-7.02 private special education center approved by the State of Illinois to serve students in the areas of Specific Learning Disabilities, Other Health Impairments, Emotional Disability, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. We accept students from kindergarten through high school graduation.
The teacher will:
*Serve as a member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to determine (a) the student’s eligibility for Special Education services, (b) instructional program, (c) goals and objectives and (d) progress toward individualized objectives.
*Provide individualized and small group instruction and periodic assessments as specified by the student’s Individualized Education Program.
*Provide an appropriate physical and social/emotional environment to establish and reinforce appropriate student behavior, social skills, and self-worth.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
