Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely payroll for employees across multiple states using our HRIS.
- Tax Compliance: Manage federal, state, and local tax regulations, including deductions, withholdings, and reporting.
- Reconciliation: Collaborate with treasury and accounting to reconcile payroll transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Compliance Activities: Handle Affirmative Action, EEO-1, VETS100 reporting, benefits reporting, audits, and state benefits plans maintenance.
- Legislative Updates: Stay current with HR legislation and ensure our practices comply.
- Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including training, tracking, and assisting with quarterly and annual reviews.
- Data Management: Maintain data integrity in HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accurate employee records.
- System Implementation: Assist with implementing or upgrading HR systems or modules.
- HR Programs Promotion: Communicate HR programs and policies effectively across the organization.
- Audit and Reporting: Aid managers with audits, reporting, and special projects.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in senior-level HR management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with UKG Ready payroll/HRIS systems is a plus.
- Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Benefits Management: Solid experience in benefits management and bill reconciliation.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional organization, writing, and verbal communication abilities.
- Tech Savvy: Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and locations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
