About Us: At our cutting-edge facility, we're at the forefront of automotive innovation. As an OBD Controls Engineer, you'll play a vital role in developing next-generation gasoline engines and advancing OBD systems.
Your Role: As our OBD Controls Engineer, you'll bring your expertise in calibration tools, C code, and Matlab Simulink to the table. Your main focus will be on gasoline OBD systems, where you'll adapt calibration tools for new engines, integrate OBD algorithms, and support vehicle development.
Responsibilities:
- Adapt calibration tools for new gasoline engines to ensure optimal performance.
- Integrate OBD algorithms seamlessly into our engine designs.
- Support vehicle development by providing technical expertise.
- Resolve issues with OBD controls and contribute to DFMEA meetings.
- Develop algorithms for various applications, from dynamometer testing to production implementation.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to address challenges and share knowledge.
- Ensure all models are accurately represented in Matlab/Simulink.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in software controls.
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and experience in powertrain controls.
- Knowledge of engines or OBD systems is essential.
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel for vehicle testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in OBD and Controls.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $42.00 - $55.00 per hour
