Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized Events Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in event planning and management, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail. This is a busy and sometimes demanding role that requires an individual who can manage many different personalities, work styles and shifting priorities based on client needs.
Roles Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and execute events from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
- Prepare budgets and manage costs for assigned events
- Create detailed event timelines and coordinate all logistics
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, partners and event guests
- Manage event budgets and finances, negotiate contracts, and handle all vendor and sponsor relationships
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure events are innovative and successful
- Provide exceptional customer service to event guests and handle any issues that may arise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal partners, vendors, sponsors, and guests
- Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as Cvent or Eventbrite
- Availability to work weekends and evenings, as events may require
