Job Overview:
We are looking for a team-oriented employee to work in our Parts & Accessories Department. While riding a motorcycle, ATV, Snowmobile, or Dirt Bike is not a requirement, being passionate about the riding experience is. Must have good phone and computer skills and be able to handle the cashiering function accurately. Merchandising experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will have some retail sales experience and will be able to handle receiving and shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and update inventory management systems
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure parts availability for repairs and maintenance
- Monitor demand patterns and assist in developing effective demand planning strategies
Experience:
- Previous experience in parts management or related field preferred
- Knowledge of repair processes and terminology
- Familiarity with logistics and procurement management
- Understanding of powersports service systems and procedures
- Strong inventory control skills with the ability to manage stock levels effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems
- Familiarity with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts ordering processes
