Serenity for Life is a new women’s residential program scheduled to open late summer/early fall! It is a voluntary, 10-bed, luxury facility nestled in the mountains of Georgetown, Colorado. The number of beds and extended stay offers staff the ability to work closely with the residents and to make a difference in their lives, the lives of their loved ones, and the communities in which they reside. We utilize evidence-based practices and provide trauma informed care.
We provide a safe, relaxing environment while offering residents the tools and support needed to manage their substance use and co-occurring disorders. The single rooms with stream and mountain views from the balconies and private hot tubs offer a peaceful environment for residents to heal and grow. The numerous outdoor adventures allow the residents to learn new activities, reduce stress, improve sleep, build self-confidence, and develop long-lasting friendships. Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant provides a variety of administrative and office support activities and ensures that office systems and procedures are in place and functioning at an optimal level. The administrative assistant will be trained on the organization’s HR software. This position will also serve as a client advocate to assist clients with any issues that may hinder full participation in services. The administrative assistant works as part of a team in identifying issues and recommending solutions.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, take meeting minutes, and process expense reports
- Monitors any missing employee punches, approaching OT
- Monitors and maintains office supplies within budget
- Maintain office equipment and address any issues
- Manage receipt and routing of agency incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist and direct callers and visitors to the appropriate staff/department
- Maintain calendar of business service agreements, licenses, etc. and renewal dates
- Organize and prepare for site visits, audits, and events as well as material preparation for attendees and participants.
- Serve as a client advocate and assist in resolving issues
- Performs other related duties as requested
Qualifications and Preferences:
- High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
- Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 preferred
- Experience in behavioral health / substance use disorder preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification or obtain prior to orientation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.50 - $34.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
