PINE & GINGER is a Jamaican fast, casual restaurant that offers dishes that reflect the change in pallet of our multi-cultural community here in Astoria, Queens and NYC at large. Taking inspiration from the dishes prepared and enjoyed by members of this community, we infuse them with our Jamaican-influenced seasonings to create something new and delightfully flavorful. Learning different skills and responsibilities of all Shack stations
Cross training and cross utilizing skills
Job Requirements
In the Team Member role, you must be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, high volume, and team-oriented atmosphere. We are seeking warm, friendly, and highly motivated candidates to be future leaders in a hospitality-driven, fun, and team-oriented environment:
- Previous hospitality and/or food service experience, a plus – we’ll teach you the rest!
- Strong communication skills that help to develop courteous conversation with the customers
- Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced, high volume environment
- Self-motivated achiever interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities
- Open availability and flexibility is a must – ability to work a variety of shifts
- Previous experience in food service or other related fields
