Great opportunity for a Java Developer II and/or III to work on-site in Aiken, SC.
The purpose of the Java Developer position is to provide support to the Business System IT department.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and/or equivalent field.

9 years in Computer Science and/or equivalent field.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Demonstrated experience and success in application development, test plan development, testing, production turnover and documentation.

Candidate must be a Java developer with at least 5 years’ experience using:
- Java
- Servlets and Asps
- Maven
- Eclipse
- Java script
- HTML
- XML
- CSS
- SQL data manipulation
- Secure coding techniques

Experience in the following is preferred but not required:
- j query
- Tomcat
- Open Source Libraries Education

Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.

Teamwork skills are important in this highly matrix ed project environment.
JOB DUTIES (must be able to do with little to no training):
- Using an Agile development methodology, develop and maintain applications that support the company business departments (i.e., Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources, Project Controls, etc.).
- Develop interfaces between enterprise systems and in-house applications.
- Perform initial developer testing and, working with the customers and Business Analyst, resolve issues that arise during user acceptance testing.
- Support QA Analyst in developing fully documented test plan.
- Eagerly take on other duties as assigned.
A work week will be up to 40 hours based on assigned schedule.
